A List of " Super " Foods That May Heal Diabetes 2.

By Sodium

I have come lately across a book entitled " The 30-Day Diabetes Cure " by Roy Heilbron and Jim Healthy. Brief notes on both authors of the book:
.
Roy Heilbron: is a physician who " is a board-certified in cardiology (2009), internal medicine (1993), and nuclear cardiology (1998). He is currently in private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico." of the United States of America.

Jim Healthy: " is a health coach and activist, medical reporter, publisher, and author. He is the founder and editor of JimHealthy.com and My HealingKitchen.com, where he coaches and instructs readers on how to improve their personal health through wiser diet and lifestyle choices."

About The Book
===============================
The book is monumental, too large, and consists of 410 pages ( 8'x11' ) and just too much to read and write a review about in a detailed manner. I have bought it to use as a reference in my attempts to manage my own Diabetes 2, since dealing with Diabetes 2, on daily basis, is difficult without getting some guidance from a reliable source. I have found the knowledge embodied in this particular book very helpful.
The book comes with the following Special Reports:

~  Deadly Diabetes Lies.
~  Mistakes Doctors Are Making With Diabetes.
~  The Dangers of Diabetes Drugs.
~  Dodging Diabetes Complications.
~  How to Heal Your Pancreas.
~  Diabetes Healing Super foods
~  Healing Diabetes with Yoga.

I have already read all the Special Reports listed above. Indeed, very helpful and I do feel that I must add one single word: FACINATING. And the Special Reports alone, by themselves, are worth the cost of $ 49.94 to get the book to my home address by surface mail.

As I read the Special Reports titled, "Diabetes Healing Super Food ", I was fully convinced that the content of the report might be of great help to all readers of this website, whether they had Diabetes 2 or not. The "Diabetes Healing Super Foods " are quoted below, exactly as listed in the special report, I have just finished mentioning:

Diabetes Healing Super Foods:
===============================
1.  Salmon and Omega-3 sea food.
2.  Beans.
3.  Onions
4.  Broccoli and other crucifers.
5.  Olive Oil.
6.  Romaine Lettuce.
7.  Yogurt.
8.  Grapefruit.
9.  Nuts.
10.Curry.
11.Whole Grain.
12.Lean Meat.

Final Words:
=============
Just eating the foods listed above is not going to get rid of your Diabetes 2, in 30 days, unless you follow step by step of the instructions provided in one of the booklets that comes with the book for that purpose. However, the foods listed in the above list are good foods to eat; and most likely, they will help you achieving and maintaining good health.
I must admit that I really have never cared to eat beans, yogurt and grapefruit, before reading such a report. Since I have started eating them, I have gradually developed a taste for them. Now, in fact, I look forward to eat them, whenever the type of meal dictates to include them in the preparations of the meals. In fact, I eat yogurt and grapefruit alone whenever I feel I need to eat them. The beans are excellent in chili with some good quality ground beef.

The Part And The Whole, According To Plato.

By Sodium

The attention of the writer of this blog has been concentrated lately on the horrific violence and wars that has been going on in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Libya. Needless to say that there is something fundamentally wrong in the social and political structures of these countries whose leaders have cared more for their selfish political power and political future than the good of their countries and people. Yes, yes, foreign powers interferences do exist in those countries. However, if the human selfishness of those political leaders was absent, no power on Mother Earth can make them do what is not good for the common good of their countries and people who are escaping the bloodshed to neighboring countries and many of them had died in the Boats of Death, in their attempts to reach the shores of Europe. Shame on their countries' leaders who could not see further than the tips of their noses in their total failure in protecting their own civilian populations.

Question: what all the foregoing has to do with what Plato had said, with regards to the part and the whole, as stated in the above title of this blog ?

Before answering the above question, one must first know exactly what Plato had said, which would be quoted below:

" THE PART CAN NEVER BE WELL UNLESS THE WHOLE IS WELL."

Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Libya are only parts of a larger geographical, linguistic and cultural whole, called the Arab World. Applying Plato's saying, those four Arab countries are sick because they are geographically, linguistically and culturally integrated parts of an extremely sick whole called the Arab World, which badly needs serious and painful surgery, from the shores of  Shut Al-Arab of Iraq, in the East, to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, in the West. .

As one studies the rich history of the Arab people, one may conclude that regardless how severely negative the historical events they had encountered, in times past, they had always managed to overcome them and kick their tormentors out from their midst, whether their tormentors were from within or from without.They certainly can do so once more, by adhering firmly to the wisdom behind Plato's statement quoted above. And the medical salvation for the sick whole is UNITY, stupid !

The Difference Between A Walk And A walk, And A Stand And A Stand.

By Sodium

This blog is all about some observations I have observed, on the Internet, through the years, concerning the protocol under which some Heads of States and Prime Ministers walk as they move from one governmental building or office to another, and I wish to share such observations with you:
Some of such political leaders walk alone, and some of them walk with a bunch of body guards or governmental servants walk behind them and beside them. One fundamental observation came out of years of follow-up from such observations is the following observational fact:

The observational fact about all of those I have followed the protocol they follow in such walk is inversely proportional to the degree of power the country each one of them represents, meaning, the more powerful the country which such a Head of State or Prime Minister represents, the loneliest he or she has appeared in his walk. By the same token, the least powerful country, in comparison, he or she represents, the greater the number of bodyguards or governmental servants walk behind him and beside him or her.

President Barack Obama of the U.S.A:
====================================================
He has always walked alone, as he leaves his copter, heading to his office in the White House. Same is true as he appears for his press conferences, unless it is necessary that his Vice President, Joe Biden and/or his Secretary of State (Foreign Minister), John Kerry, are standing beside him. However, most of the time he appears all alone.

President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation:
====================================================
He is also a lonely man in his walk and he has stood all alone, as he receives visiting Heads of States. And he has always stood all alone, at the edge of a beautiful carpet in the reception hall of the Kremlin, as he receives the various visiting Heads of States.

President Francois Hollande of France:
====================================================
This guy walks rather slowly, in comparison to Prime Minister David Cameron of Britain.  .
The most remarkable in his walking or standing is the way he makes a appoint in receiving the visiting Heads of States to his presidential premises. He always stands at the top of the two or three steps which are located just a few feet from the entrance gate to his offices. He never tries to show a bit of  sense of humility by stepping just one step down in his protocol of receiving Heads of States. In a sense, this guy's behavior is similar to President Vladimir Putin of Russia. Hollande stands at the top of the two or three steps stair way, while Putin stands at the edge of the beautiful carpet, as each one of them receives the visiting Heads of States. The irony that stems from such "Show Off of Nationalistic Power" has been imitated by some of the rulers of some of the Third World. Such rulers grant themselves the delusion that they are as powerful as Putin and Hollande. Acting powerful when when they are not is just sheer hallucinations.  .

Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom (Britain):
====================================================
This guy really walks fast, but all alone. In fact, he is the fastest Head of Government I have seen walking all alone. And he certainly looks so youthful and full of energy, under his disposal to spend as he pleases.

Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany:
====================================================
If this lady is not talking with both David Cameron of Britain and Francois Hollande of France, one may see her walking or setting with one of the Prime Ministers of the countries which either owes Germany billions of dollars that needed a rescheduling of payments or setting or walking with one of the Prime Ministers of one of the countries which needs to borrow billion of dollars from the cash rich Germany. She does show a sense of humility, as she sits or walks with such the prime ministers of the countries that need financial help from Germany or from the European Union, since Germany is a financial power house in such a union. The power of Germany stems from its economic and financial muscles, and not from a military might, since it depends, for protection, on the American military troops being stationed on its soil, since the end of World War Two (WW II ).

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel:
====================================================
I have never seen this guy walking alone once, as he walks from one government building  or government office to another. He has always surrounded himself with a bunch of people numbering from six to eight people and some times I lost counting the crowd walking behind him and beside him. And he walks rather fast, but not as fast as Prime Minister David Cameron. Most likely, he walks with so many people walking behind and beside him is either due to his personal fear of assassination, since he is not exactly a likable person, or due to his arrogant habit of show off and his propensity for Hasbara (Propaganda), as a man of power. To me, he stinks, even in his walk.
Arab Head of States:
=====================================================
They have never walked alone. They always are surrounded by assistants and other governmental officials and courtiers.. A case in point was the late Muamar El-Qadafi, of Libya, who had surrounded himself with women bodyguards, wearing some fancy military uniforms. They were all imported from some Eastern European countries, plus some Libyan nationals who were nothing more than courtiers whom he needed to raise his tent for him and for providing other services, as he pleased and when he travelled, as it had happened once in one September, in his travel to New York city to attend the General Assembly session of the United Nations-just about one year before he was overthrown and assassinated in the process. In that particular travel to New York, his travelling companions were, indeed, just too many.

I can go on and on providing the readers with more examples similar to the foregoing samples, but the above examples should suffice to convey to the readers what I had observed as I watched, on the Internet, the behaviors of the leaders mentioned in the above list. In short, the ratio between power and walking or standing is an inverse ratio, in mathematical terms.

Final Words:
===============
As I watched both Presidents Putin and Hollande as to how the former had stuck to his carpet and the latter stuck to the top of the two or three steps of the entrance gate to his presidential offices, I could not avoid remembering the sense of presidential humility that President Dwight Eisenhower had shown to King Saud of Saudi Arabia, as the King paid an official visit to the United States of America, in the 1950's.. It was truly touching, as I witnessed, on my Black & White television, President Eisenhower receiving King Said as he stepped out of the last step of the stair connected to his parked airplane. It must be recorded, in history books, as a big plus for Eisenhower's sense of humility. To my knowledge, no other American President has shown such  a presidential humility as Eisenhower had warmly shown in receiving King Saud of Saudi Arabia, at the airport.

Some cynical critics may say that was done by Eisenhower because of the huge oil ( petroleum ) fields discovered in Saudi Arabia. Such a cynical claim might have been partly true, but as one studied the entire career of Eisenhower, one might discover that humility was an integral part of President Eisenhower's character. Even if the humility he had received the king with because of the oil fields that had been discovered by American companies, it remains a big plus for Eisenhower, due to the fact that he had placed the interest of the American people's future needs for oil ahead of presidential protocol and power. Therefore, the cynical critics will remain just that: cynical.

The Horrible Loss Of Direction.

By Sodium

Nolte: Below is the approximate English translation of the previous blog entitled " Al-Tyho Al-Mureebo " which has been published on May 11,2015, on this website.. The objective of writing and publishing such a blog remains the same. That is to express a strong rejection of what has been going on in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Libya, where Arabs are killing Arabs, and Muslims are killing Muslims; and meanwhile losing the sight of their real enemies. What is going on is insanity-pure and simple. Because of such an unreal political and violent environment, the following prose has been composed from heart to heart:

                                                The Horrible Loss Of Direction\
                                   ===================================
She said to us, from the middle of the homeland. And Syria has been in the Middle of the homeland:
Unity, Unity, is your salvation.
And Unity has abandoned her Arabs, since her Arabs have abandoned her.
And Muneef's loss of direction in his political novel, " Cities of Salt (1) " has become the Plague.
And Saladin has moved in agony, in his grave in Damascus, by the horrible loss of direction.

Come with me to Iraq.
And remember with me how it was.
And witness with me how it has become:
Shi'i-Sunni, Divid and Rule,
Kurdish--Arabic, Divide and Rule,
Muslim-Christian, Divide and Rule.

Divide and Rule are the Whip,
Divide and Rule are the Whip.

O' My friends, across the Globe,
O' Arabs across the Arab Homeland, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf,
O' Persians in the mosaic population of Iran,
O' Turks in Asia Minor of the past Ottoman Empire,
O' Russians in Mother Russia,
O' Americans in the lands of Native Americans, Washington, Lincoln, Kennedy and Eisenhower:
Pity the nation in which the wolf eats the peaceful lamb,
and the strong brutalizes and smashes the weak..

Pity the nation which looks the other way as theft, embezzlement and corruption rule.

Pity the nation that has been arrogant in its delusional ambitions for hegemony.

Pity the nation that has been infested by the foolishness of empire building. And All Empires collapsed.

Pity the nation that has been living in the hell of endless lies and hypocrisy.

Pity the nation that has submitted to the governace of rulers who act like silent devils..

From the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf, She will never submit to the horrific campaigns of instigated disunity and threat.

From the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf, She will never submit to the horrific campaigns of conditionings and cheap political talks.

Victory belongs to Her, in the very end of all finalities, but after a painful agony. Her history says so.

She has said to us, from the middle of the homeland. And Syria has been in the Middle of the homeland: Unity, Unity is your salvation.
And Unity has abandoned her Arabs, since her Arabs abandoned her.
And Muneef's loss of direction in his political novel, " Cities Of Salt (1) " has become the plague.
And Saladin has moved in agony, in his grave in Damascus, by the horrible loss of direction.
Have mercy on your lost souls, O' lost warriors in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Libya.

Since I have no Arabic alphabets board on my computer, to write it as it is being written in Arabic alphabets, I am compelled to write it in English alphabets, through translucency. The translation of this piece will be published in the next blog, about a week from now, if time and health cooperate. Below is the transliterated version in English alphabets:

Khalid Bahah, Vice President And Prime Minister Of Yemen.

By Sodium

I have just finished watching Aljazeera's program called " Leqa'a Khas, " in which Mr. Khalid Bahah, Vice President and Prime Minister of Yemen has been interviewed by one of Aljazeera's anchor personalities. I have heard of his name and title, but I have never seen him, before today, on the Internet, responding to important and interesting questions.

I must publicly say that I have been highly impressed by Mr. Bahah's knowledge and sincere intent and accommodating honesty, through which he has intended to follow a policy of inclusion, not exclusion, of all various political groups of Yemen, after the conclusion of the current war whose end result must be to abide by the United Nations Security Council's Resolution 2216.

His profound concern for the welfare of the Yemeni people has been so obvious, as he has worked with the authorities of the State of Qatar to make sure that the people of Yemen get the essentials and basic commodities of foods and medicines through flights from Qatar to Djibouti and then by boats to Yemen. The United Nations has recently reported that the Yemeni people are suffering badly for lack of foods, medicines and other basic essentials to sustain life.

Because he has left an enormous and lasting impression on me, I have felt that a public recognition of such an impression will be in order.

As long as Yemen has leaders like Khalid Bahah, Yemen will overcome its current agonies and will end up having a fine blue print for building its future, as the people of Yemen wish to have..

May the future show that what I have just said in the last paragraph above come true for Yemen and its great people who had enlightened the entire human race as to how to roast and brew coffee and enjoy a cup of hot coffee, in the morning, or at any other time of the day. This Yemeni enlightenment has not been fully recognized in many parts of this chaotic and violent world.

The Bullies In The Arab Neighborhood Of The Middle East.

By Sodium

Although my intent has been to review the answers given to the " 100 Tough Questions about God And The Bible ", as expressed by Stephen M. Miller, the accelerated events that have taken place in the last two months have compelled me to postpone my intended plan, in order to follow, through the Internet, the madness of the following two events:

( 1 )  Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu 's Warmongering Speech To U.S. Congress.
( 2 )  The Yemenite Minority of Al-Houthis' Military Coup In Yemen.

As one witnesses such events unfolding, with serious consequences to the people of the Middle East which has been in instability since the days of Lawrence of Arabia activities, in Middle East, during World War One ( WW I ), one may wonder aloud, where all such endless instability and associated human tragedies can lead to ?
An essay entitled, " Balfour Declaration and Sykes-Picot Accord Are Roots Of Violence / Wars In The Middle East, " ( dated July 13, 2014 and published on this website ), that had taken place during WW I, is a must read in order to truly comprehend the real causes of such ceaseless instability, chaos, violence and wars, as one sees going on and on and on etc..., ever since, in the Middle East.

In spite of the great importance of Balfour Declaration and Sykes-Picot Accord to the current instability, violence and wars in the Middle East, as an integrated whole, one may wish to overlook them, just for a while, in order to determine who are really the current political bullies in the Middle East:

Zionist Israel:
=============

As one follows the career of Benjamin Netanyahu, a former Furniture Salesman in the United States of America, turned politician in Israel, and eventually Prime Minister, one may be able to see that he has been a man of arrogant Hasbara (Propaganda) and expansion and war. In fact, his murdering of civilians, especially women, children and disabled old people, during his war on Gaza, in last July and August of 2014, has already placed him and his ZioFascist helpers in the top of the list of war criminals of the Twenty First Century-current century. Perhaps, the Middle East might have experienced less chaos and violence, if he remained in the U.S. selling mattresses to an Asian American whorehouse in the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. His war mongering speech, on March 3, 2015, to the U.S. Congress was a clear call for war against Iran's nuclear activities. He has certainly sounded a hypocrite, in his offensive and insulting speech to Congress, since he has already, at least, 200 nuclear bombs while Iran has none, so far. How about one of the bigger nuclear powers, like the U.S.A. demands, as it demanded from Iraq in 2003, that he, Netanyahu, disarm of his nuclear arsenal or face land invasion to disarm him by a military force ?  It will be interesting to see his reaction if that ever happens.

Persian Iran:
============

Al-Houthis are a Yemenite small minority who are Zaidis, an Islamic sect close to Shi'i Islam. That means they are closer to Iran than to Sunni Islam. The vast majority of Muslims are Sunni. Iran is mainly Shi'i. Question: why the Yemenite Houthis are called Houthis, in spite of the fact that they are really Zaidis ?  Answer: they are called Houthis because their leader, who is a loudly aggressive and arrogant man, named Abdel  Malik Al-Houthi. Hence, they were dubbed as Al-Houthis who could not have possibly succeeded in their illegal seizer of power from the legally elected President Abed Ruboh Mansour Hadi, without military help. Such a help has come from Iran and the former President of Yemen, Ali Abdullah Al-Saleh, who was forced out of power by the Yemeni youthful revolutionaries in 2011-2012. As a result of Al-Houthis-Al-Saleh-Iran's military coup, the elected President, Mr. Abed Rubuh Mansour Hadi under house arrest. He eventually fled to Saudi Arabia and requested international help from Saudi Arabia, Arab League and United Nations to help him restore legitimacy to Yemen. The United Nations Security Council has passed resolution 2216 calling on Al-Houthis and their supporters to respect the legitimacy of President Hadi and solve their differences through dialogues, not through illegal seizure of power. All diplomatic efforts produced nothing. In fact, as soon as Al-Houthis succeeded in taking over the government facilities, they immediatly established 14 direct air flights per week between Sana'a, Yemen capital city and Tehran, Iran's capital. Before the takeover of government facilities there were no such flights between the two cities. It was obvious, Iran was behind it all. A dangerous move, at the borders of Saudi Arabia and pretty close to the Bab Al-Mandab, the strategic narrow pathway that connects the Red Sea to the Arabian Sea. That has become a real threat to Saudi Arabia and to international navigations through Bab Al-Mandab. Saudi Arabia has no other alternative except to strike back, with real powerful air bombardment of Al-Houthis and Saleh's Army in Yemen, demanding that Al-Houthis and the former President of Yemen to disarm and respect the legitimacy of President Hadi. Saudi Arabia is now demanding that Iran should stay out of intervening in the internal affairs of the entire Arab countries. The Saudi demand is plausible, since some Iranian officials have recently bragged that they control four Arab capitals: Baghdad, Damascus, Beirut and Sana'a and the future capital of their Persian empire will be Baghdad. In addition, one Iranian university professor has recently written a book in which he tried to prove that " The Prophet Muhammad was not an Arab."  If such silly attempts, on the part of the Iranian bragging officials and the writing of the university professor means anything, it means one thing:  It is amusing how far can some Iranians go on in such hallucinations. It seems to the writer of this essay that they have not forgotten yet their military defeat in the great "Battle of Al-Qadisyah " on the hands of the 7th century Arabs. Resentment and hatred of Arabs ?  Most likely. And Persian Iran has used slyly and effectively sectarianism,-meaning Sunni--Shi'i split, within the confine of the Arab World to sustain such a resentment and hatred of Arabs. It is most regrettable behavior.

The Bullies In The Neighborhood:
=================================

On one of the websites I occasionally make comments on one of its forums, I have written the following comments, immediately after Benjamin Netanyahu had made his offensive and arrogant speech to U.S. Congress; and just about two weeks before Saudi Arabia had decided to strike hard at the Houthis and Saleh's Army in Yemen:

"  Both Iran and Israel are guilty in their arrogant Hasbara ( Propaganda ), for the sake of achieving their geopolitical goals in the Middle East, by a hook or crook. The cherished goal of each is hegemony. Both seem to keep ignoring the fact that their bullying has been performed in an Arab neighborhood. Sooner or later, the neighborhood will be saturated by their bullying craps and implode from within, in their faces; and might make shambles out of both of them. The cycle of history says so, not me. "
The comments quoted above is no brilliance in political analysis, but simply common sense and rational, based on daily observations of what has been going on in the Arab neighborhood of the Middle East. I must assume that other observers of the political and military scenes of the Middle East might have already reached the same conclusion as I have expressed in my quoted comments in this blog.

Taking A Moral Stand:
=================================

If I refrain, here, from saying that I have felt supportive of Saudi Arabia air force strikes against the Houthis and Saleh's Army, I would have been less than an honest man. Such a supportive moral position stems from the fact that Saudi Arabia has struck back with its powerful air force in order to force both Al-Houthis and Saleh to respect the legitimacy of President Hadi, and in order to abide by the United Nations' Security Council's Resolution 2216, and to convey a clear message to Iran and other bullies, in the Middle East, that bullying at its southern borders and potentially threatening to control international navigation through Bab Al-Manndab, the narrow water pathway that connects the Red Sea to the Arabian Sea, will not be tolerated by Saudi Arabia and the Arab people across the entire Arab World.. Period.

Final Words:
=============
It is so obvious to the writer of this essay that the geopolitical bullies, in the Arab neighborhood, are Israel's Netanyahu and his companies of Ziofascists; and Persian Iran and its supporters. The Arab population in the Middle East is 340 million while the sum total of the population of Israel, Iran, Turkey and Malta and Cypress is hardly 150 million. Therefore, describing the Middle East as an Arab neighborhood is a correct description. And describing Israel and Iran as the political bullies in the Arab Neighborhood, is also a correct description, as one closely examines what Israel and Iran have been doing in, and to, the Arab neighborhood and its 340 million human beings.
